Josh & Nicole's Epic Backyard Wedding

This may be the best backyard wedding we've ever seen!

Josh & Nicole had a beautiful fall wedding - and if we didn't tell you that it was hosted in their backyard, we don't think you'd have ever guessed! These two have the backyard that dreams are made out of, so it's only logical that when they were searching for their dream wedding venue, they simply had to look out the window...

Their wedding day started surrounded by some of their closest friends and family. Their gorgeous barn made such a great backdrop for their portraits during this part of the day! And before we knew it, it was time for their ceremony, for which they'd set up a beautiful arbor and hay bales for guest seating - totally on theme! Their wedding ceremony was so sweet and featured their adorable daughter as the flower girl. And after Josh & Nicole said "I do" and celebrated their way back down the aisle, we were able to whisk the two away for their newlywed portraits! This is where Josh and Nicole and their large, gorgeous property really shined! We were in awe of how great the couple looked throughout their portraits!

Finally, it was time to move onto the reception, which was a total party with all their closest friends and family! From speeches to their first dance to the open dance floor that stretched into the night, all their guests were laughing and smiling all night long! These two even got a whole dance floor installed in the yard, so you know it was a good time!

Some of our favorite moments of Josh & Nicole's wedding, both big and small, were:

Nicole's accessories, including her gorgeous boots and "Just Married" leather jacket. We were totally drooling over these all night!
The small sitting vignette that they created with a vintage velvet couch and pallet wall. It was totally unique and there was always someone lounging on it throughout the night. Probably the best part was the lighted letters of their last name than hung on the pallet wall - so cute! And this was one of so many incredible details that they featured throughout their wedding!
The special dance that Josh and their daughter shared during the reception. She kept throwing her shoe on the ground and making him pick it up throughout the dance. She (and honestly all the guests) thought it was hilarious!
